Dear Thailand Team, Happy New Year! YOU are part of a move of God in 2009, which includes bringing healing, deliverance and redemption to tribal peoples of northern Thailand just a few weeks from now. I have just returned from a prayer retreat and I must say I had a wonderful time praying for YOU! REMEMBER! This Saturday's Thailand Team Meeting is not here, and it's not at 1:00 PM!!! LOCATION: It's at Ed and Lorna's, 1154 King Salmon Place, Hammond, OR 97121. (For more information, call them at 503-861-1036. TIME: 12 noon. (This is to accomodate all who can be there better.) Let me remind you of some items: 1) Do you know where you are re: fundraising? (Don't like that term, but by using it at least you know what I mean.) Do you need a new spreadsheet outlining what donations have come to Ambassador Ministries in your name? IMPORTANT: On this item, remember that we are a team! If you have already have raised your full amount, please consider how you can help those who haven't! 2) Do you have a copy of the packing list? 3) Do you understand the air itinerary? Do you need that information? 4) Where are you on your reading? Other team responsibilities? Because there are a number of issues to look after, I would like to "take your temperature" once again. The "thermometer" is the questionaire attached. PLEASE PRINT IT, FILL THIS OUT AND BRING IT TO SATURDAY'S MEETING. If you're not going to be there, please mail it to me. -- and PLEASE don't put it off! Again, if you need to respond to me, please don't just hit reply. Anybody need a good washer & dryer?

Dear Thailand Team: Merry Christmas! I hope you got my last message about this Saturday's meeting. I'm writing this to find out if we might be able to bless someone on the Thailand team. Terri and I are being blessed with a new washer and dryer this weekend, but the ones we have are great, so perhaps if someone has a need, they can come get ours! What exactly does that mean? Well, we have a Kenmore Electronic 90 Series washer and dryer (matching set). As the name implies, they are completely electronic (as in nothing manual), heavy duty and fairly large capacity. They have worked well for us for the last couple years and since replacing a motor on the washer (if my memory serves me right) about a year ago -- I'm sure they have many more years left in them. Be sure to see the photos attached. Anyway, if this is a need you have, THEY'RE YOURS so let us know how you can get them (you'll have to pick up -- and if you're from the Coast, I'm sure that means this Saturday!). If we cannot bless someone we know, then we'll probably use craigslist and sell them. Blessings, Craig DeMo

AN IMPORTANT REMINDER!

Dear Thailand Team: Merry Christmas! Just a quick reminder... Don't forget the Thailand Team Meeting this Saturday (2 days after Christmas Day)! We'll be having a potluck (or pot blessing if you prefer) with Christmas leftovers! In other words, come and bring some food, but after all that shopping, eating and celebrating there's probably no need to go out and buy some more food! Just use what you've got at that point. Well, actually, I write that last sentence with one proviso -- that you let me know, whenever you can, what you'll be bringing, so we'll know whether we need to pick up some slack somewhere. (Please?) Also, if you CANNOT MAKE IT for whatever reason, PLEASE let me know that too. Now you'll notice that attached to this email are two versions of a packing list. No, don't start packing yet! However, I want to point out a couple things mentioned on that list: -- You'll need to get an inflatable air mattress if you don't have one. -- You'll want to start collecting hard candy (wrapped) and small toys for tribal children in Thailand. (Anybody attend a church that just held a Christmas party for kids and they need a worthy cause to donate all that leftover candy to? Hmmm. Give that one some thought...) -- Please pay attention to what items on the list are suggestions, and which are NOT. -- We'll talk about packing this Saturday. Thailand Team, I know, I know, that was silly. But what this is about is the current team list. Would you please download this list, which I updated today, and check to make sure your information is accurate? Also, if you have anything to add, list another email address or cell phone number, let me know. Thanks for the responses I have received to this emailing so far. Hope to hear from everyone soon. Wed. 11/19/08 TO: AM Thailand Outreach Members & other interested parties FR: Craig DeMo RE: This Saturday's meeting, your testimony, remaining paperwork, airline tickets, legal names on passports, questionaire, your questions Dear Team: After an extremely fruitful outreach to Paksitan and Dubai which ended two weeks ago, I'm exciting about meeting with you this Saturday, since you are the leaders on the next great outreach! Several items of importance: 1) THIS SATURDAY'S MEETING is at our place, 4185 SW 102nd Ave, Beaverton, OR 97005. Time: 1:00. Would you please let me know if you are coming? (If you told me before but there is any doubt, send me an email letting me know.) 2) TESTIMONIES will be again be reviewed at this Saturday's meeting. Again, everyone is supposed to prepare two versions of two testimonies -- that means, have them ready! The first testimony is your salvation experience, either how you were born again (briefly!) or what difference Jesus has made in your life; two versions: 3 minutes and 5 minutes. The second testimony is a healing testimony, either how the Lord healed you (physically) or how He used you to bring healing to someone else (physically); two versions: 3 minutes and 5 minutes. The reason you need to practice these in advance is because of the time constraints. Remember that with interpretation, the time doubles or triples. Come on Saturday prepared to give your testimonies. 3) ALL REMAINING PAPERWORK should be turned in on Saturday. If you can't be there, please send it to me. For procrastinators, I offer this incentive: NO AIRLINE TICKETS will be purchased for those with incomplete paperwork. Of course, I'm talking about Policies & Procedures, the liability release and the financial responsibility form. (To be fair, I have MOST documents already on file -- but there's a couple of you...) 4) AIRLINE TICKETS is a subject we should be addressing on Saturday. I am doing my research this week. Be in prayer about this! From what I know so far, these have gotten more expensive than I thought! 5) LEGAL NAMES, that is, the names as they appear on your passport, is an area we have to address soon. We MUST buy the airline tickets using the very same name as what appears on your passport, or it could spell trouble when the time comes to board the plane! Please do this: Look at the team list, and if your name on your passport (first name and last name) is different than what is on the list, let me know. 6) QUESTIONNAIRES are attached. Please fill a copy out and sign it, then either bring it on Saturday or mail it to me right away. (Ed & Lorna, you may take an exemption on this one because I already have all your information.) 7) IF YOU HAVE ANY QUESTIONS, let me know. I will answer by email or address the subject on Saturday. NEXT SATURDAY! THAI PASTORS & POTLUCK

Dear Thailand Team, NEXT SATURDAY IS THE DAY WE HOST PASTORS FROM THAILAND FOR OUR TEAM MEETING! As you'll remember, we moved the third meeting to Sat. 9/27 to accomodate our friends from Thailand, pastors from the Lahu tribe -- and there will be 6 of them! Sooooo, get your questions ready! This will be the time to ask! Time and place: 1 pm, our house. (Of course, if you have questions about that, better not wait until next Saturday. Ask now!) TO MAKE THINGS EASIER, I'M PROPOSING WE POTLUCK IT. Please bring something for a shared meal, since there will be so many of us at this meeting. Also, come early -- say 12:30 or 12:45 -- so we can get things rolling on time. If you can let me know what you'll be bringing, that would help our planning. ON TO OTHER ISSUES: 1) If you don't have your paperwork properly filled out and in my file -- bring it on Saturday!! 2) Are you one of those who hasn't submitted your questionnaires? Bring that too. 3) Have you checked your financial obligation schedule lately? Where do you stand? Hint, hint: I told everyone that SEPTEMBER (the month we're in now) is the month to get all fundraising letters in the mail -- to avoid the distractions of the holidays. If I were you, I'd get all correspondence in the mail before Saturday! Don't say you can't. Just do it! 4) FYI, in talking to our travel agent, I anticipate that airline tickets for the Thailand Outreach will be purchased in mid-late November. If you have not filled out proper paperwork, haven't a valid passport and/or haven't kept up with your financial responsibilities according to "Policy & Procedures" then no ticket will be purchased in your name. A word to the wise is sufficient. 5) I want to encourage to ask people you know to participate in the Thailand Prayer Team. Correction to message on team meetings

Dear Thailand Team: In the last message, I made a small error when discussing team meeting requirements, specifically how many meetings you need to attend, based on how far you live from Portland or the north Oregon Coast. Thailand Team Meeting Schedule (revised)

September 13, 2008 PLEASE READ COMPLETELY TO: Thailand Healing Outreach 2009 team members FR: Craig DeMo, Ambassador Ministries RE: Team meeting schedule, revised as of last meeting Greetings! I wish to reiterate that, an important part of your preparation for this outreach is to attend team meetings -- as many as possible and within understood guidelines. Meetings held thus far have been successful, as are getting to know one another, build unity, review pertinent materials and receive instruction about the culture and customs of Thailand. The following is excerpted from our Policies and Procedures (which you should have received, signed and returned already): a) Even though the minimum requirement for team meetings is 60% (or less for those who live a long distance away), I strongly urge team members to attend every meeting possible. Please dont let other commitments or distractions get in the way. When you arrive overseas, youll be thankful for every meeting you attended! b) For the benefit of those who live a long distance from the Portland (Oregon) area or the north Oregon Coast, the following guidelines will govern your participation in team meetings (based on a schedule of 10 team meetings; the actual number could change): i) Up to 1 ½ hrs by car from northeast Oregon -- 60% attendance required (6 out of 10). ii) 1 ½ to 3 hrs by car from northeast Oregon -- 40% attendance required (4 out of 10). iii) 3 to 5 hours by car from northeast Oregon -- 30% attendance required (3 out of 10). iv) Over 5 hours by car from northeast Oregon -- none required (but 1 or more recommended). As you know, the first two meetings were held on July 19th and August 16th. At the last meeting, we re-scheduled the next two meetings, in order to accommodate Pastor Yawla Khamchareon from Thailand, who will be with us this month. DONT MISS THE SEPTEMBER MEETING!! Remaining Thailand Team Meeting Schedule: 3. Saturday, Sept. 27; 1:00 pm at Craig & Terris house 4. Saturday, Oct. 18; 1:00 pm at Ed & Lornas house (reminder: Ill be in Pakistan also, remember that Scott and Carries wedding is Sunday, Nov. 9th!) 5. 1st Thailand Team Meeting

Dear Thailand Outreach Team: There's only one week until the first Thailand Outreach Team Meeting! Remember, the date and time is Saturday, July 19th at 1:00 pm. The location is right here at our place, 4185 SW 102nd Ave., Beaverton, OR 97005. If you have not been here, or you cannot print out a map with directions, please let me know so I can assist you. NOTE THE CHANGE IN TIME! It's 1:00 pm, not 2:00 as originally planned. Would you please remind one or two team members during the following week about this first meeting? Re: the attachments -- To help me keep track of team progress, I have devised a questionnaire. Please print out a copy in either PDF or MS Word format, fill it out and come to the first meeting with the questionnaire in hand. This will save valuable time during the meeting, as this way I won't have to ask you a bunch of questions in person. Also remember that you should have your paperwork filled out and signed (and in some cases, notarized) with you when you come. Let's maximize our time together! Please be prompt.
